The skill of writing anything in beautiful styles is known as calligraphy. It is a method for adding flair to your writing and giving it an aesthetic appearance. Calligraphy has been practised since antiquity. Calligraphy artists have worked hard to transform a variety of important scripts into attractive calligraphic forms.

In Islamic literature, calligraphy is among the most highly praised form of art. We are all aware that the Quran is delivered in Arabic and is also read and written in Arabic. As a result, Muslim Calligraphy artists have put their efforts into writing Quranic verses in Calligraphy. These calligraphy scripts are the primary artworks used to adorn walls in Muslim homes.

Islamic Calligraphy is done in different styles such as Nashik, Kufic, Nasta'liq, Riq'ah, Muhaqqaq etc. I have been practising various calligraphic styles as a Calligraphy artist. Among these, I have tried to create a Kalimah of Muslims in Kufic Calligraphy style that gives a decent look to the walls in your house.

Kufic Style of Calligraphy is the oldest style used in Arabic calligraphy, dating back to the 7th Century. Its origin is traced to Kufa in Iraq; therefore, it is named Kufic. The Kufic style originally consisted of 17 letters, but later 28 letters were introduced in Kufic style. All characters used in the Kufic style are mostly linear, bold and angular, i.e., why it was mostly used in stones, tombs and coin embellishments. Moreover, Quran was first written using the Kufic Calligraphy style in Arabic.

The aesthetics of the Kufic script can not be denied, i.e., the reason it is still used in calligraphy paintings and is appreciated around the world. Its elongated and angular letters increase the legibility as well as the beauty of the Arabic text.

It is our responsibility as Muslims to preserve our culture and heritage. As a result, I developed a beautiful artwork of Kalima that signifies, "There is no god but Allah, and Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is Allah's last prophet." You can also follow the thread by bringing a Kufic Calligraphic artwork home. Order now this Kufic Kalima artwork that will help you remember Allah all the time and increase the beauty of your walls.
